Software engineer and independent researcher. Original datasets, browser behavior, web standards, and performance — published at Open Lab.

I'm a software engineer based in São Paulo, with over 15 years building production systems — from LMS infrastructure and media processing pipelines to search platforms and AI-integrated workflows. Most of that work has been backend-heavy, with a recurring focus on data integrity, automation, and system behavior under real conditions.

Alongside client work, I run independent technical research through Open Lab. I build measurement tools, collect original datasets, and write about things I find worth documenting — browser behavior, web standards, font performance, privacy signals. Not tutorials. The LinkedIn Chrome extension probing piece is a good example of what that looks like in practice.

I'm posting more frequently now, which means some pieces will be narrower in scope, but the bar stays the same: original data, reproducible methodology, and honest framing.
